Like a skilled painter, Sandra Lee has created a palette of Jade in swirls of peach, pink, green and cream. From the Candy Jade pendant to the tiny peridot beads, Tropicana invokes the colors of bright tropical blossoms, cooling palm fronds and sweet mangoes. Square coin-shaped Candy Jade beads in deeper colors continue the color scheme. When Sandra spotted the tear-drop shaped Candy Jade pendant last year, the quest to find just the right beads for her bold signature design style began. Gathering every component requires a trained eye and lots of patience. You rarely have a sample to match with, so you must trust your instincts on size, shape and color. When all the pieces came together, Sandra started by creating the centerpiece by adding a delicate silver chain as a bail for the large Jade drop. Sandra strung her main 26-inch strand with the 2-inch centerpiece, mango Jade rounds, darker Candy Jade squares and sparkling yellow-green peridot drops. For additional interest, she added a shorter inner strand of mango Jade squares that swings freely above the pendant at 22-inches. The final touch to her one-of-a-kind design is an antiqued sterling silver toggle clasp. In creating the Tropicana's coordinating earrings, Sandra echoes the pendant's chain by creating a free-moving silver triangle dangle. The earring's Jade beads are color-matched but in a more suitable size for earrings. The ear wire is sterling silver. Tropicana is a masterpiece in Jade perfect for an extraordinary woman!
