After a leisurely shopping expedition, she spotted a fabulous necklace at a major Houston department store. With a sister who makes jewelry, Maxine's find could become reality. Pulling together various colorful elements - peridot, carnelian, glass beads and a generous sterling silver flower - Maxine then presented them to Sandra. Together they transformed all the individual beads into a lovely necklace with a bold and colorful look. They successfully captured the essence of the original necklace while incorporating Sandra Lee's trademark quality and style. Maxine's Folly is a 22-inch long silver chain with three large faceted lime green beads and a large sterling silver flower. The honey-colored Carnelian square and large silver bead provide the visual balance on the opposite side. The finishing touch is a sterling silver twisted toggle clasp. Sandra Lee hates bare ears so she created matching earrings - 2-1/4 inch of silver chain with green Peridot with honey Carnelian. This dynamic design certainly didn't turn out to be a folly!
