There was certainly joy in my heart when I found this lovely silver filigree cross, so it had to be named Joyous! The bright sterling silver looks so beautiful with these rich-looking lapis blue beads. Marketed as "Blue Mountain Jade", these beads are dyed (per industry standards) dolomite marble, an Asian stone used frequently in high-end fashion jewelry. I mixed in a few silver-plated filigree beads and finished Joyous off with a delicate silver oval "pearl" box clasp. Pearl clasps require a little squeeze for extra security. The focus in this handmade necklace set is definitely the cross, so I decided the 2 inch earrings should add a bit of sparkle next to your face without being overly complicated.
