Rings and Earrings = Love

My first wedding ring was a $50 gold band from a department store. Next Arden bought me a lovely ruby ring (my birthstone) as an anniversary gift. Then he gave me a soft pale blue Aquamarine ring (which I had to have cut off by a fireman after my finger became swollen – but that’s a whole ‘nother story). I found a great synthetic emerald that he bought me one year – love that bold green and of course, it’s real. It’s really filled with love.

I love big bold earrings so Arden surprised me one year with a pair of Lunch at the Ritz, bold, glittery fish in the sea. I own several more pairs but these are still my favorite. Women cross a restaurant to comment on them!

If you thought July was hot – wait til you see the sizzling new jewelry from  Rose of Sharon Jewelry - over 55 new handmade designs debut in August!

All 4 stores will have new necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets and decorative watches appearing over the next 4 weeks. Most of July was spent finishing new necklaces and opening the AdornableAnklet store at Etsy.

I’ll be devoting August to listing these fabulous creations and getting our giant watch promotion ready for Christmas buying.

A Catholic friend asked Betty about handmade rosaries last Spring.  Mom loved making these so you’ll find several colorful versions in the New Life Jewelry Art studio at ArtFire soon.

Another addition to the ArtFire studio will be this magnificent lampwork necklace in lush browns. The chain is vintage and just the right tones for this wire-wrapped glass focal.

The dramatic gold heart is a great contrast to the more delicate blue and white swirls of the glass beads.
