Even snow on the ground won’t stop me from preparing for Spring! Pulled out all the garden catalogs, ordered more plants and today I’m featuring two great handmade jewelry designs that shout Spring!

Welcome to all our new Rose of Sharon Jewelry Facebook Fans.  I’ve been part of a link love campaign sharing networking info with other FB crafters. In a little over a week, I went from 300 fans to 500! And I’ve gotten to meet some wonderfully creative people.

I’ve been busy every evening keeping up with all the “fanning” pages, “following” Twitterers and “hearting” Etsy shops.  Next week, I’ll spend more time really looking at and talking with all the people I fanned.

I believe the link love campaign started on Etsy but it soon had its own momentum. In fact, I’m not certain who I heard it from but I know a good thing when I see it!

Your mouth will water when you look closely at the juicy Jade beads in the handmade Pink Grapefruit necklace and earring set designed by Sandra Lee for the Rose of Sharon Jewelry artisan line.

Two different Jades with colors ranging from the palest pink to a ruby red (as in the grapefruit) were mixed with sparkling rose Swarovski crystals.

Sandra Lee loves earrings so she took 2 of the swirled darker pink Jade squares and transformed them into matching earrings.

A touch of teal and flowers adds romance to our newest handmade bracelet, Pink Innocence. The lampwork beads provide vivid contrast for the pale and bright pink glass beads.

 

The pale pink crackle glass beads and vivid pink Czech glass set the tone.  The finishing touch is a lovely silver pewter heart theme clasp with a pink heart accent.

This lovely double strand 7-inch bracelet debuts today on Etsy.

Who could be blue when wearing this beautiful Before Dawn necklace? With blue shades in pale glass to deep-as-the-ocean coral, the fluorite floral pendant take center stage in this great one-of-a-kind design.

The double-strand necklace uses natural blue coral beads, are mixed with pale blue crackle glass beads.

 

The Fluorite pendant is hand carved and has dramatic blue streaks. Beaded tendrils continue the floral theme.

 

Never one to let a few leftover beads “go to waste”, Betty has fashioned a lovely coordinating pair of earrings. Both the necklace and the earrings have sterling silver findings.

Before Dawn is 17 inches long plus an additional 2-3/4 inch for the center focal.
