Betty's newest series of beautiful hand beaded cross necklaces (part of our marathon photography session this week) will debut in ROSJ store next week. Her original designs feature everything from simple sterling silver crosses to ornate gold filigree versions with Swarovski crystals. Valentine Promotion Starts

This week we started a new Valentine's Day promotion that includes free shipping and a 15% discount on select designs.

Betty's newest wedding jewelry designs should arrive by UPS today so I'll be in the photo studio tomorrow getting new pics. You should see these (along with the 30 other pieces I'm still writing copy for) all available for purchase next week.

The Gift That's Always Perfect

Secrets in the Dark

After some research, I came to the conclusion that my jewelry photos were being adversely affected by the overhead lights in the loft. I have a complete tabletop photo studio set up for this month's inventory additions so I was turning on every light possible to make the situation "brighter". Well the result was I was confusing the digital camera and not getting color accurate shots.

So I've spent plenty of hours in the dark carefully setting up each presentation, shooting test shots and getting some pretty amazing reflective pics. The Wow! shots as I call them. Will upload some samples here as soon as I figure out why the server is denying me access to upload pics. Keep your fingers crossed that I can tame technology again and check back on Monday to see what all the fuss is about.

Happy New Year!

Well, I've finally recovered from non-stop company and festivities! Hope you had as great a Christmas as the Fullen family did. All 3 boys were thrilled with their gifts. Hunter rides his electric Razor scooter everywhere. Kael was speechless when he saw the wooden train table and Orion has been busy drilling, hammering and sawing with his red plastic Craftsman tool bench.

Sandra has found a new passion - wire work. She quickly mastered making connectors and other decorative pieces - so watch out for some exciting new designs from her. She brought with her a dozen necklace sets for me to photograph and post on ROSJ (watch for their debut next week) and is preparing for at least another 30 more!

My Canon Rebel camera is giving me problems so off to the shop it goes. Will be using my old Nikon so I can keep up with all the beautiful designs everyone is busy on. Mom (Betty) is working on wedding jewelry, Sarah has more charm bracelets and I have some red, hot Valentine's jewelry ready.

Dena's beautiful wire wrap work will be debuting here soon too. We've got preliminary photography done and will begin copywriting next week. Wait till you see how fabulous her pendants are!

I've been consumed with the web site launch and promoting Rose of Sharon Jewelry. It can be easy to lose sight of the purpose of all this for me personally - to create beautiful jewelry.
