New today: a lovely pink and blue tropical floral  anklet from Adornable Anklets. A plumeria within glass beads are highlighted with pink pearls and blue firepolish beads.

 

The flower encased in these handmade lampwork beads is a Hawaiian native – plumeria.

 

 

 

 

The  faceted Czech firepolish combined with the blue and pinks within the lampwork beads and pearls really completed the tropical theme in this one-of-a-kind anklet.

Introducing Betty’s new Breast Cancer Awareness anklet. This handmade anklet is her celebration of being cancer free for 20 years.

Her lovely one-of-a-kind anklet features the Breast Cancer Awareness pink and white colors. Betty selected each charm for  its significant meaning to breast cancer survivors and to the families of the women are no longer with us.

When you  see a lovely sparkle around an ankle, a smile soon follows. When you think of a dressing for a casual summer day – think Adornable Anklets.

 

 

Welcome to our Grand Opening

Today we officially opened the Adornable Anklets store at Etsy. Just a few one-of-a-kind anklets are in the store now but lots more will be posted over the next several days. I just couldn’t wait to share these fun designs! All the new designs are very affordable because we think you should own several! You can wear a single one or double or even triple them up for a really dramatic effect. The Adornable Anklets are designed for durability. Most designs are created with a study silver-plated over steel chain and secured with a durable lobster claw clasp. The individual charms, drops and dangles are secured by wire-wrapping whenever the design allows. We love sparkle and think that anklets should have plenty! Because everyone must look down to see your adorned ankle – extra sparkle is a welcome feature. Our Adornable Anklets are filled with crystals and faceted beads to catch the light.

A Little Charm

Charms are a favorite of the gals of Rose of Sharon Jewelry so you’ll find charms of pewter, silver-plated and even sterling silver. Enameled charms are a real plus as they add a pop of color as they swing and sway.

Favorite Themes

Themes such as hearts, flowers, love and happiness will be well represented throughout the collection. We’d also love to hear about your favorite themes as we are working to create a comprehensive collection for the 2010 summer season. Just drop us a note via the Etsy convo message system and we’ll see what we can create for our valued customers.

We have two price levels - $15.99 and $25.99 – for the current collection so no ankle need go unadorned! We also will be happy to create a special custom anklet just for you (or perhaps as a  gift). You’ll find  the info on how to request custom products in the Adornable Anklets store at Etsy.

In the Studio

Mom (Betty of Rose of Sharon Jewelry) arrives on Saturday so we’ll be busy creating more Adornable Anklets until she leaves at the end of the month! Good things happen when we get together!

An Anklet for Every Occasion

Anklets are perfect for a summer vacation wardrobe (how about a cruise themed anklet?) but how about a lovely pearl and Swarovski crystal anklet in your wedding colors? As the store shelves become virtually stocked, you’ll find anklets in lots of great colors! We’re having a ton of fun creating these and are confident you’ll have a great time wearing them!

3 beautiful handmade necklaces fresh from Betty debuted this week at ROSJ - Faux pearls, soft colors & crystals galore in OOAK designs.

Seafoam is a lovely pale green faux pearl necklace. The three strands drape softly around the neck and measure 16-, 19- 20-inches.

 

Faux pearls are made from glass. These have exceptional luster in the seafoam green.

Betty created this romantic necklace to coordinate with popular Spring florals.

 

 

The double heart clasp in antiqued sterling silver adds to the message of romance. Rose of Sharon Jewelry is known for our  beautiful clasps.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Forgotten Dreams was created from faux pearls in royal purple and snow white. Betty mixed in a few purple Swarovski crystal spacers for extra twinkles.

 

 

 

Love Knot is another beautiful faux pearl creation from Betty. You see she got the pearl bug and decided to stock up on natural and glass pearls. Her obsession sure looks beautiful to me!
