Hang up the phone. Put down your PDA. Stop reading. Kids need your full attention as most drowning happen with a parent near-by.
I cannot be Silent this Sunday – for the sake of your children!
Drowning is the leading cause of preventable death in children under age 5.
It only takes a minute for disaster to happen. Even a shallow kiddy pool can be a scene of unspeakable sorrow.
One minute they are playing – the next they are face down and turning gray.
