There’s so much noise out there about running an indie business – who do you listen to? I’ve found the IndiBisChicks.com to be a trusted resource. I subscribe to their weekly biz tips via email and have read their RSS feed on Yahoo regularly.
I personally can relate to their tagline: “For Women Who’d Rather Work for Themselves, Than Work for the Man”. I’ve always been an overachiever (which is good and bad) but it seems that makes you a risky employee. So being on my own means I don’t have to put up with their cr…p.

Eyeball Update
Ordered new eyeglasses today so I’ll actually be able to see to blog and bead. Have used all kinds of goops, drops and other goodies in my eyes over the past 3 weeks in hopes of clearing my vision. Seems that my “floaters” have moved and are actually causing a fog over the critical part of the eye. Got a pair of glasses just for close work – had to give up my Coke bottle but it was for a good cause.
