As Nature Intended Jewelry
I'm a gal that loves gemstones in all forms. As a youngster, I discovered a magnificent geode filled with perfect clear crystals. You see Dad was a "rock hound" and we spent many hours digging through mounds of dirt and rocks in search of crystals, Thundereggs, jasper and other natural wonders. I've even spit and licked a find to reveal its beauty. What a great way to spend childhood summers! I never imagined that I'd be working with beads to make my own wonders - natural jewelry.
Last summer I stumbled upon a stash of rough tumbled citrine beads, I just had to grab them.
I love the way the cracks and fissures catch the light. I know whoever snags this gem will have a full supply of sunshine whenever it is worn.
Here's what I made - Capturing the Sun bracelet.
