I started with a wonderful oval curved marcasite pendant with a sparkling purple faceted amethyst center. When I saw this focal, the design immediately popped into my head. I then hand selected juicy grape-colored, hand-faceted amethyst rounds for the main strand. Deep in my silver bead stash, I found the ornate round purple enameled and rhinestone adorned accent beads. A few Swarovski crystals in black diamond add extra sparkle. The finishing touch is a very bold marcasite toggle clasp. Bejeweled measures 16-inches plus 1-1/4 inches for the centerpiece.
