This rare mineral, Gaspiete is absolutely LeAnne's favorite. We were so excited to find this green beauty during a trip to Tucson, AZ. Although Gaspiete was "discovered" in 1966, we found literature mentioning the Australian Aborigine's had long used Gaspeite to bring about good fortune. The mineral's highly saturated green reminded us of Picasso's art; hence the name Apple Green Picasso and the whimsical hand wrapped sterling silver frame.
